About this deal

SnowRunner has 6 manual gears (reverse, neutral, low-, low, low+, high) in addition to auto (not all gearboxes have all of these), and the brake pedal works (= does not reverse) in all of them except auto. (it would be nice if brake-reverse could be turned off for auto.) All of the gears can be assigned to keyboard keys or buttons, I'm using the digipad on my wheel for 4 of these. Proprietary technologies: T-AEC-Q, T-DCC, T-RTF, T-LIN, T40-VE, T-DFB, T-F.O.C., T-M.C.E. and T-TURBO When you compare these pedals to the standard two pedal set you will see a lot of similarities. The majority of the base of each pedal set is made from plastic. The pedals themselves feature a similar metal design and construction, and they’re hinged in the exact same way. In theory, these T3PA-Pro pedals are the perfect almagamtion of the best braking technology and product design. We’ve been testing these pedals for a while now with our T500 RS. And we’ve written this review to help you decide whether it is worth you buying these T3PA-Pro pedals We tested this in all four configurations, and preferred the longer brake travel, with a medium increase to resistance. For us, this felt the most natural, as the short brake travel just felt too unrealistic.

By being able to adjust each pedal in to three different configurations, you will find it much easier to get a good setup for your preference. Many race cars in real life feature a brake and throttle pedal which are mounted closer together. Thrustmaster have been making the right steps towards the ultimate pedal set for a while. The base pedals you get with some Thrustmaster wheels come with only two pedals and are just not fit for sim racing. If you’ve read this far, you’ve probably come to the conclusion that the Pro model is a dramatically better set of pedals – and you would be correct in making that assertion. However, the Pro model is dramatically more expensive, and the extra cost will be hard to justify for all but the most serious of sim racers – for whom we do wholeheartedly recommend the T3PA Pro. As mentioned, the design is almost identical to the T500RS pedals. That isn’t a bad thing. Unlike some cheaper pedals, the T3PA-Pros feature a full metal construction. This really elevates the perceived quality of this pedal set.

This allows you to run a closer brake and throttle pedal for heel and toe downshifting, if that’s your style. One of the most common questions we get is – do Fanatec pedals work with Thrustmaster wheel? This is due to Fanatec producing some of the best sim racing pedal peripherals on the market. The Fanatec CSL Elite LC pedals are one of the best entry level pedals available, the LC standing for load cell. There are of course the T3PA Pro pedals, if you fancy another step up. The Pro pedal variant allow for even more customization by allowing you to invert the pedals.

These are designed to work on all T range Thrustmaster wheels, and they should be a must buy for those who have a T300 or TX racing wheel. If you already have a T500 RS, these are practically the same but with the extra braking mod. We would confidently say that you will be able to drive better with these pedals compared to the two pedal set. The clutch pedal allows the introduction of heel and toe braking and downshifting. And the brake mod allows you to have much better control over your overall braking technique. Fanatec ClubSport pedals V3 (and V1 + V2) are supplied with their own USB. This means that you can connect them directly to your PC, and will work with any wheel base. Again, this is only the case on PC and with games which support multiple inputs which are listed above. Can You Use Fanatec Pedals With Thrustmaster Wheels Xbox or PS5?As we stated in the previous section, both of these pedal sets have been around for a considerable amount of time and it’s probably best to say that they’re both overperformers – but the increased quality and customizability of the Pro model does translate to better performance. Although the regular T3PA offer great value for money, we think the T3PA Pro are a far better choice for most sim racers. They are built entirely out of metal and are far more customizable with both F1 and GT pedal setups. T3PA vs T3PA Pro: Technical Specs You can adjust where you place this rubber mod to give the brake pedal a few different sensations. You can place it towards the base of the pedal if you prefer a long brake pedal. This will give you a slight increase in resistance as you near the end of the brake travel.
