The bedroom was a fairly accurate recreation of Alex Vreeke’s ‘90s room from an early scene of the movie. The Game master gave us hints when needed but never enough to ruin the experience, I was blown away at the effort they have gone to to make this room up!

The Game is heavily based on Jumanji, a theme that I’ve encountered in escape rooms on multiple occasions but never well done. Get lost in the wild and enjoy a game that extends the narrative of the Jumanji sequel and pays homage to the original, too! First of all, Jumanji room is by far one of my favorite escape rooms I've ever done and I've done quite a few.I have played around 20 rooms in total and those three found in Tenerife were the best in my opinion.

Once we were in the video game, we each selected a character and received an ability based on that role. An extension of the films “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” and the original “Jumanji,” this 4 – 8 player experience begins with you sneaking into your friend's room, but he doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon, so you start snooping around a bit. Without realizing the danger that lies ahead or understanding the rules, you have no choice but to start the game.

In the box, you do get the decoder, which is certainly a fun object, even though it looks a bit cheap as well. After we started the video game console and booted up Jumanji, we found ourselves in a jungle environment. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating - particularly as some members of the group were late, cannot fault the staff, really chatty, engaging and did not seem annoyed at all. We asked to be pointed in the right direction if we got stumped and our host gave us just a bit of a nudge without revealing what we had to do.

And much like the stampeding animals in Robin Williams's film, more surprises would come rushing your way!I enjoyed most of the puzzles in this experience, but enthusiasts are unlikely to encounter anything particularly novel. More than often you’ll have to make do with normal paper materials, which sometimes even rip when pressing them out of their molds. While this package will give you a lot of fun for around three hours, once you complete the different scenarios there is no replay value. The sets and decor were really fun and impressive, with a lot of very cool moving parts and interesting surprises. But when he takes a long time to show up, you make your way to his bedroom and decide to look around.
