About this deal

These would help establish her as a fully fledged author in time, creating a name for her quite unlike any other. Many of these would continue as time went on, each featuring different running themes and ideas running throughout. Often featuring Scottish protagonists, her books would be varied, as she carries on producing novels, writing more and more to this day. Both Ella and Gordain have baggage and issues with neither really believing that they are worthy of love. However as the book develops, it is obvious that these two really are meant to be. The secondary characters were entertaining and as soon as time permits I will be looking at the other books in this series. I really enjoyed this third installment in Jolie Vines’ Marry the Scot series. The hero of this book is Gordain, younger brother of Callum, the male lead in book one. He’s also the tattooed helicopter pilot best friend to James from book two... That is the installment that laid the groundwork for this romance. It is where Gordain met James’ younger sister, Ella, and helped her escape from the clutches of her evil uncle Richard. Welcome to Paranormal Romance! When Gordain McRae rescues Ella Fitzroy from her uncle's clutches he is doing his best friend, James -her brother - a favor. He has long admired James' beautiful little sister, and wants to protect her any way he can. At 17, she's far too young for him, but when she turns 18 and needs a husband to stop her evil uncle from stealing her inheritance, the only man she wants for the job is Gordain.

Sinclair Stone AKA Sin is on the run with his family having escaped their imprisonment on a remote island. The only person missing from their crew is Violet Hunter AKA Lottie, the girl who he has been fantasising about for a good year; the girl who refuses to leave with him. He's bitter but focused on keeping his family alive and safe. With a sound of frustration, the woman stormed out of the shop, followed closely by the male half of the couple. The bells rang merrily as the door closed behind them, as if celebrating their absence. Burn and sister Cassie. Enter Breeze, a young woman willing to sacrifice herself to find her sister and pay off her basketcase mother's debts. Scar zeroes in on her immediately upon meeting and needs to save her from the path she's chosen. Turns out both of them lived their youth with mothers who survived through prostitution. They've been pyschologically scarred as a result, and Scar carries a major facial scar to constantly remind him of those horrible days. The couple's intimate scenes are by no means vanilla(!) and include some liberties taken with Scar's trusty tattoo gun😧. Jolie Vines is a relatively new author to me and I am new to narrator Fergus Ryan whose performance I really enjoyed. From the first chapter until the last I was hooked and was annoyed when real life got in the way of my listening.

This book begins with a moment from Vines’s second book, Love Most, Say Least (by the way, another great book in this series), when Gourdain, James’s (the hero from LMSL) best friend and a military pilot, saves James’s sister, Ella, from their raving uncle. From the moment, there is a driving, intense chemistry between the two. However, there are a couple of issues: (1) Ella is his best friend’s sister and (2) Ella is younger than Gourdain (her 17 to his 22). For most of the first part of this story, these two engage in the unrequited dance of chemistry, as Ella doubts that Gourdain could be attracted to her and Gourdan struggles with a personal crisis and issues related to this past (not to mention his worry over her age). However, as in any good romance, that dance turns into something more, and the two must make a choice about their future together. Gordain's military career is in freefall after a night he doesn't remember. His burning need for his best friend's younger sister is surely a knee-jerk reaction to his problems. He should walk away, yet he cannot say no to the lass.

Scar is kind, and sweet, but fiercely committed to protecting his family. I can even forgive the tattoo. This story is told primarily from Sin and Lottie’s point of view, but also features the voices of a few other characters, giving us a comprehensive look at what’s going on with our fleeting family. This story was HOT AF! Sin is a huge, huge, possessive alpha, while Lottie completely strangles her virginal inhibitions. I loved how she longed for her and how her desire for her helped get rid of her image issues. Aside from his combustible chemistry, I was totally hooked on this story.I hope this isn't a spoiler, but this book has dual virgins, which I loved. Scar had never even felt attraction for another woman until he first saw Breeze (which totally messed with his head since she was a naked, tied up captive at the time). Breeze was determined to infiltrate the underworld that she believes her sister is caught up in, which meant putting herself up for sale. Camden (Scar) was having no part of that, and, unable to resist his feelings for her that were so strong from day one, he sets about making her his. Another way this book was different was that for the majority of it, Struan and Thea are physically apart. I didn't get an inkling of that feeling with these two. Their romance was definitely a focal point, and I adored how neither of them could keep their hands off the other. The pull between them was magnetic. The sexy times were extremely hot, and none of the timing of them was unrealistic. Camden and his brothers still don’t understand the scope of the situation they’ve been thrust into. When an opportunity lands in his lap to find out more information, he takes it hoping it will help him find out what’s happened to their brother, Burn, and sister, Cassie. He wants to help and protect Breeze, too, but he’s worried the fantasies stirred by his attraction to her only prove that he’s as depraved as his biological father. However their were parts I thought could have been explained a little bit better and parts that using common sense could have solved the problem but where would the excitement be in that…

Initially brought out on the Kindle again, this would first come out in 2019 on the 26th of September to an already eager audience. This would also be the fifth book in the ‘Marry the Scot’ series of novels, featuring another passionate romance in the long-running collection. Featuring its own self-contained narrative, it’s the last in this particular series, although there are arcs and characters brought over from previous novels. Each of the novels features different members of the McRae family, with this featuring Ally, who is the youngest brother amongst them all. Many of Vines’ previous series are also integrated into each other, making her work feature different cameos for her long-time fans and readers. I didn't fly through this book as fast as the others. I found it a bit slow. I think that's because 1). It focuses almost solely on Scar and Breeze. We don't get a lot of the family that I've come to love. 2) It's setting up for the final book in the series.

Ummm wow.. this book seriously had me on edge the whole time. I had a love/hate relationship for this couple. I loved them so much but I also hated them. And not in a bad way. They had so much past trauma that I hated the way they were to each other at times. It was when they stopped fighting their feelings that I stopped hating them.

I loved that we got more of Straun and Thea. I loved watching their love shine. I liked seeing Scar grow, Burn find a bit of peace, and Cassie find her family. But the drama that happened. The way things went done. So many questions hanging in the air.... aghhh. This series, this book! It will reel you in and leave you hanging, waiting for more. I need to know what happened. But I'll be patient. My answers will come in due time. They will all find peace and happiness and I'll be happy too. Looking forward to the next book! ❤❤ Ruin was a dark, mysterious masterpiece that I thoroughly enjoyed. This is my first book by this author and I’m in love with her style of writing. I will be signing up for all of her future releases.I have fallen hard and fast for Struan, Ruin, Scar, Burn, Cassie, Thea and Lottie. This little ragtag family is the definition of unconditional love and loyalty. I want to wrap them all up in a protective bubble and just give them some peace. A moment later, he thrust between my folds then jerked, coming, too, and growling his pleasure under me. Wet landed on my thighs, and his hand went straight to it, rubbing it into my core. On the tattoo then lower. This time, he hadn’t even penetrated me as we’d worked out how to play. Now, he pressed a finger into me, then two, taking his cum inside.
