Little Miss Helpful

A competition was held in the British Sunday Times newspaper for children to submit their own Mr. Men character for inclusion in a limited edition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series. Mr. Cheeky was selected as the winning entry, submitted by then-eight-year-old Gemma Almond. Her creation led to a book featuring her character being published; it was sold only in W H Smith branches, with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity, supporting children with leukemia. The stories are set in a fictional universe called "Misterland", which is inhabited by the Mr. Men and Little Misses themselves, as well as some ordinary human characters such as shopkeepers, doctors and postmen. There are also various animals; Walter the Worm is the main animal who appears frequently. [12] The characters are human in their behaviours and attributes. Each of the original books stars one of the characters, who has a brief adventure revolving around their character trait. And the sun has a face on some occasions. Mr. FunnyMr Funny is the funniest person in the whole of Happyland, quite the funniest you have ever seen. To start with, Mr Funny lives in a teapot that has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. What is even funnier is the fact that his car was not in fact a car, but a shoe with wheels! Although he wants other people to be happy, in the books, he was nearly always happy in the series. He tends to hide his other emotions (sadness, fear, anger, etc.) behind his grin. An example of this was in " Boats" was when Mr. Happy had a smile to remain positive when the S.S. Stubborn was sinking. To the overweight woman, he says "Fatty! You're supposed to eat the things in the fridge, not eat the fridge as well!" Mr. Rude is published as Monsieur Mal-Élevé in French, Don Grosero in Spanish, O Κύριος Αγενής in Greek, Senhor Rude in Portuguese, and 粗魯先生 in Mandarin.

Mr Men

Little Miss Magic, it was nice of you to stop Mr. Greedy from eating a poisoned apple but would it have hurt you to just use your magic powers to de-poison the apple? Uncanny Valley: His skin color along with how hunched he looks whenever he stands upright makes him look quite off-putting, which is likely why his design was changed so much for The Mr. Men Show. Jughead Jones (Archie series, both wear blue, get mad rarely, and share rivals with Reggie, Trula, the Mr. Men and Little Misses) The actual story starts with him going for a walk in Happyland, when he discovers a small door at the bottom of a tree trunk. He then goes through the door, and down a small staircase, where he finds a room at the bottom. Mr. Miserable resides inside the room, and he looks exactly like Mr. Happy, except with a big frown instead of a big smile. Mr. Happy takes Mr. Miserable out with him and invites him to stay in Happyland for a while.
