About this deal

Most parts of the book are difficult to understand because of the terminology used so a lot of “newbie” communicators will struggle to get the most out of the book. You will always get answers to your questions insofar as you have the sensory apparatus to notice the responses. This effect increases the amount of very long (VL) O-antigen, which is required for the resistance of Salmonella to serum human complement and polymyxin B, and for the replication of the bacteria within macrophages.

It's so well organized and presented, together with a detailed introduction, that you feel like you're a part of the live-audience. The central thesis of NLP, then, is that the best way to help others overcome emotional, behavior, and psychosomatic problems is to discern the processes by which they organize and access their thoughts and feeling and alter it. After reading it I'm very curious to discover how much I will learn over time as I process the material in my life. I bought it for my husband, who already knows about NLP, and he rated it as one of the best books he owns. Note that throughout, the therapist has no idea what the "bad thing" is, nor what the "good resource" is - he or she simply gives content-agnostic process instructions. Most right-handed people look up and to the left for remembered images, and up and to their right for constructed images. It involves amazing awareness of someone’s body language and appropriately adjusting your own body language to create rapport with people. Most of it dealt with non-verbal communication, in contrast to "Structure of Magic" and other NLP texts. The point of reframing is to "find out what the secondary gain of [and undesirable] behavior is," (138) with the ultimate goal of creating a new, alternative pattern to replace the old one. Just one of Many of Bandler's (and Grinder's) older Gems this book was a real inspiration for me when I was first learning about NLP.

I feel reframing is a must-have technique for any person who is interested in getting past problems and obtaining the most out of life. If you pay attention to the process words someone uses (verbs, adverbs and adjectives), you can match them to gain rapport. With opposing views, you can reframe the two responses as alternate ways of getting an agreeable outcome. Some important questions captured in the book as well but you will not easy to find it as the book has only text without any symbolic. It has been referred by many as the book to read for somebody starting out in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and rightfully so. As I've now alluded to more than once, the authors don't offer much in the way of objective evidence. If they look down and to their right, they're accessing kinesthetic feelings; up and to their left, visually constructed images; and so on. By creating rapport, I can establish a congruent communication channel with the unconscious, being the biggest chunk of the iceberg of mental processing. The person will be using kinesthetic words for example and the therapist will rephrase using visual descriptions or vice versa.
