John Ross Bowie actually seems like a decent guy, unlike most film theorists who are the biggest assholes in history. I really enjoyed the analysis of the symbolism within the movie- the setting, the naming of characters, the color system in place. Ryder's agent was so opposed to her pursuing the role that she got down on her hands and knees to beg Ryder not to take it, warning her that it would ruin her career.

You'll love the personal back story contextualization from the author at first, then become bored at the overextended analogy and self-indulgence as it continues beyond its ripeness. The team includes the creators of Legally Blond, Bat Boy, and Reefer Madness--it's no wonder that Heathers shares that tight, fast-paced, ensemble-driven roller-coaster ride through a story that manages to be both morbidly funny and socially and emotionally relevant.

This book explains how to use heathers to their best advantage, from achieving seasonal interest to combining with other plants. The cast of the Joe's Pub concert included Annaleigh Ashford as Veronica, Jenna Leigh Green as Heather Chandler, and Jeremy Jordan as J.
