All of the Height of Arrows iterations contain one botanical; juniper, which creates an abundance of complex flavours. On the nose, a balance of clean fresh pine and resin coupled with light citrus with orange zest and lemon on the palate. We use salt as a natural flavour enhancer, marrying with juniper to impart a further depth of flavour.In creating Height of Arrows we sought to create a gin that followed the same principle of utilising a few ingredients and elevated them to achieve an abundance of flavour. Just like roasted coffee, we tested our juniper at different roast levels until we found the perfect balance of sweet and bitter.

If you can justify the cost get a bottle of the "Bright" as well because they really are very different and elicit a variety of different reactions when enjoyed side by side which gave our party a fun focus point! The Gaelic name for the mountain is Àrd-Na-Said, which literally translated means the ‘Height of Arrows’ as the mountain was believed to be the furthest distance any archer could shoot an arrow.

The florals on the nose carry through to the palate, with herbaceous notes on the finish and an enduring spice. As such, Height of Arrows Gin brings it all back to juniper, the core gin botanical, for a drinking experience that is focussed and fantastic.
