About this deal

One, if you look UNDER that tire and wheel he's working on, you'll see some sort of STAND that the wheel may, or may not be securely fastened to or at least has some sort of ability to hold the wheel steady while you're torquing on it, trying to mount a tire. and Baja No Pinch Tool are dedicated to bringing you the tools and accessories for your Baja motocross and dirt bike-lifestyle. The Tool is constructed to be both light weight and strong, and can easily be carried in your travel pack.

The tube that goes in the axle hole is a good bit longer than needed for my tires, and it has to hang down below the wheel to sit the leverage point in the right spot. You still have to remove the tire with spoons, but getting the new tire on with a tube inside is a low stress situation with this tool.

Of course, all of this led to one thing: Lindsay loves working on his bikes almost as much as he loves talking about them. The Baja No Pinch Tire Tool was made as a way to help eliminate pinching a tube during mounting, while trying to make it easier as well. The different size shafts screw into the bottom of the tool and use a set screw to hold them in place, while the 25mm sleeve goes over the standard 20mm shaft (Used for some KTM models). Our dirt bike tire changing tools are designed to make the task of changing tires easy and convenient. I always was pretty good at tire changing and at places like Reddick where it was moist in the morning and blue groove in the second motos it was such a huge advantage to change tires between motos.Once I had that figured out, the process sped up quite a bit, and I had the first side of the tire mounted up.

With an outspoken personality, gearhead background, and as Vital MX’s guru for product, Michael is here to share his unbiased opinion. If this sounds obvious then I apologise but all to often the videos on u-tube make it look too easy and you jump in expecting the same, get stuck, then frustrated and it all becomes a mess and very stressful. pounds and conveniently breaks down into a few compact parts, with the longest part measuring just 12 inches. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. If and/or when, I might be unlucky enough to be the honored recipient of a FLAT TIRE in the field or a few miles from home or a camp spot, the ability to simply plug a tire and refill it with a small, on board compressor, is SERIOUSLY more plausible than removing the tire and wheel, breaking it down, finding the hole, patching it, then, put it all back together, hopefully not pinching the tube in the process, and, using a tiny air compressor to SEAT the bead, is something I'd rather not see or partake in, for the rest of my riding life.

At least when they're new, it would be simply amazing that anything could puncture either one out in the outback. The actual part number is a 90-426 and, based on where you are in the world, they're kind-a tough to get. One of my mistakes was I was trying to "learn" while using new, stiff tire, even after sitting on sun for hours. Soooo, I went to a local motorcycle/Razor/side x side repair and parts facility here in Lake Havasu and they didn't have any but, can get one to me by tomorrow by about 10:00 in the morning.

The only thing I found to watch for is leaving all the anodized parts to bounce around in your tool bag, or the box you take to the track. I would like to see that tool actually mounting the Dunlop TMM tire and see what kind of effort has to be applied, vs that soft thing he's working on. True, but the old tyre is a lot easier to get off than a new tyre is to get on, new sidewalls are stiffer than old ones that have been squashed flat a few million times.
