Quite possibly all of them with the exception of prolonged animal torture (but don’t quote me on that because my brain is not working okay right now). The story was being told through the point of view of a character I could easily liken to any Tarrantino protagonist, (and the exuberance in the dark humor definitely didn't distract from the Tarrantino vibes). If you have entered either the half or full event you will complete your lap/s around the lake and then take on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Then there’s Jacques Bruel, Ollie’s ‘father’, who doesn’t remember the last time he spoke with his son, knows next to nothing about his childhood or youth and doesn’t even know where he lives, what he’s done with his life or who he loves.

I have very little – if any patience- with a grown man who deliberately sabautages his wife, undermines her confidence and sets her up for a disappointment. Every surface of the kitchen was packed with colorful jars filled with jams and jellies, pickles and chutneys. I’m surprised a Triana book put me into a reading slump, I usually love his books, but I was so slow getting through this one. After a while, he had become nervous about being in town and Olivier had started to visit him in the woods. The writing is very good--almost hypnotic at times, and I truly had trouble disengaging from the book each night.Kim is a beautiful and popular 16-year-old cheerleader with suicidal thoughts and a general pessimism for life in general. My stomach was doing somersaults, and I decided that whatever my next book would be, has to be much lighter to balance me out. I notice that Ruth wrote the “She rose up…” poem right after Olivier confessed everything to her and she felt unable to console him the way she wanted to. Full Brutal is cruel and evil and so very wrong but the fact that the perpetrator of all of these horrible misdeeds is a beautiful teenage girl worked for me.

But soon, simple backstabbing is not enough to keep her excited, and she nosedives into sabotage, violence, and even murder. The famous Snowdonia weather will test you with wind and rain on one side of the valley and sun on the other. It managed to take my mind off of the current hellish timeline we’re caught up in and thrust me into someone else's for a few hours.The story is excellent; ultra violence, steamy sex (hubba hubba), lots of twisted dark humor, likable characters and a thrilling plot. The story focuses on a budding and eventually flourishing young serial killer and cannibal, Kim, and goes extremely dark. I know it’s fiction, but I find myself mourning just a little as though this all really happened to a friend.
