About this deal

By contrast, Andy proves that it is in concentrating on the smaller things that we add value and margin. I skimmed, I fell asleep on a couple of occasions while reading, and it just was dragged down by mundane details that frankly bored me.

Successful people are never compared to others, in fact they compete with themselves, they make a comparison with their own potential. She was really present in the story and it was apparent that she came first in her dad's life, as she should be. Jane Costello is the Sunday Times bestselling author of 14 books, five of which were written under the name Catherine Isaac. Evie is really small so she doesn't quite understand what's happening and the innocence with which she asks questions and handle things is sombering. Now I am not a non believer but I know many who are that are good, decent and successful without being maniacal people. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you.

When Joel was struggling with his sexuality, he slept once with Claire, his girl best friend, and resulted in a daughter, Evie. All were impacted by the small things that occurred and yet most of us only remember the larger outcomes from them. The damage [a nurtured offense] causes -- immediately and over time -- is far, far greater than its initial size would lead you to believe. Like in Passing Through, there's some grief and melancholy here, but the book doesn't drown in these emotions.

This started off well and was going along at a nice steady 3 star, but as I hit the half way mark I started to get bored. We know immediately that Joel is head over heels for his daughter and as they walk home, we begin to learn how Joel, a out gay man, has a daughter. This one follows a giant panda and its adorable cub as they discover the importance of helping others and what really matters in life. It was refreshing, in a way, that the relationship Joel was in before he met Liam wasn't a toxic one. While The Little Things didn't feel all that much like a romance, I liked it quite a lot and I think it shows that the author has more range than just light and fun (which is awesome, too).

Featuring new work from Alfian Sa’at, Christine Chia and Yong Shu Hoong, Some Say, A Tapir recaptures the year 1299 of Singapore’s history.
