The TaylorMade RBZ SpeedLite set is a great choice for beginner & intermediate golfers. In our testing, the distance certainly matched a premium golf ball, with the results being plentiful. In all, this is a fairly small gripe for what is a hugely impressive golf club set. TaylorMade has designed a 12-club line-up that we think has genuine mass appeal. For those not wanting to get fitted, but still looking for a quality set that will perform and look good, the TaylorMade RBZ SpeedLite is undoubtedly one of the best golf club sets for beginners on the market.

The five-piece design features four increasingly stiff layers wrapped in a cast urethane cover, with the High-Flex Material (HFM) introduced in the previous generation still helping to optimally convert compression into ball speed. Although it doesn’t have adjustable features, the driver is forgiving, helping to keep your off-center hits along the target line. The simple answer here is yes. At the top end of the spectrum, TaylorMade golf balls are used by some of the world's best players like Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa. What really works for the RBZ is the feel at impact. If you hit the ball in the sweet spot, you are going to know it immediately and the resulting drive will delight you. While watching our testers hit the TaylorMade RBZ, I was taken with how often they were smiling while using the driver. This is a fun club to use, whether it be on the range or course. There are three loft options available with the D7 Driver. What’s great about each degree option is that Wilson has tailored each model to provide a different shot shape. This created six extra carry yards and seven additional yards in total. We noticed it spun a little less with the irons and wedges as well and yet there was no loss of control or feel. We also thoroughly enjoyed the feel with the putter as well because it gave a lovely soft touch off the blade. As we know, amateur golfers can, at times, have difficulty with hitting the ball in the center of the club face.

The face is slightly deeper and bigger than the Burner 2.0, which aids forgiveness. Shots from the bottom of the face fly noticeably further than previous models. The Kalea is essentially designed for ladies who (on average) won't swing it as fast as men. But its performance attributes could work for anyone towards the slower end of the swing spectrum (perhaps kids or more senior golfers) Forgiveness and distance are the two most important features of a driver. Golfers want the ball to go as far as possible with as much accuracy as the club can muster.
