Sony's new 2160p/Dolby vision presentation of I Know What You Did Last Summer rewrites the history of the film's home video performance, which to this point has been disappointing at best. Both the original Sony and the later Mill Creek

While it’s a sweet moment, the film makes the smarter choice, efficiently reducing all of this dialogue to a meaningful look shared between the two. This tale, in its original form, tells the story of a young couple who park at Lover's Lane and are listening to the radio. A news bulletin cuts in explaining that a lunatic has escaped from a local mental asylum. He has a hook for a hand. They decide to leave and later find the hook buried in the side of the car. This version was used in the wraparound story in the anthology, Campfire Tales (1997). In I Know What You Did Last Summer, the maniac with a hook for a hand legend is adopted, but with the film's own variation on the legend. Urban Legend (1998), another slasher film, was released the following year, using a number of urban legends as the methods of murder throughout; it was not as successful.Sony has released the 1998 Horror sequel film 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer' to the UHD format. Overall, an excellent mix, and is definitely one of the strongest upgrades to Atmos I've heard. It's not like sounds are whizzing everywhere, sure, but it's just got a sense of quality about it. Highly recommended! Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Brandy, and Mekhi Phifer star in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, which was directed by Danny Cannon. Music Video for “Hush”, written by Joe South, and performed by Kula Shaker. Presented in 4:3 full frame format. skin, clothes, and environments. It's organically sharp, unlike the Blu-ray, with a real sense for filmic definition and capable of capturing the inherentThe all-new bonus content for Five Nights at Freddy’s gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the iconic animatronics and recreating the immersive world of the game.

It’s propulsive and fun, but manages to deliver the nonsense and jump scares with just enough emotional and psychological realism – especially as the friends start to suspect each other – to keep us invested. tone transforms from what looks like sun pouring in through the window to something much darker and tonally reserved. The change is radical, but it

The story, which is based on a novel by Lois Duncan, revolves around the events one night as a group of four friends prepare to say goodbye to their high school lives and go their separate ways. Driving along the coastal highway in the middle of the night they hit a man and freaking out because of his alcohol consumption, the owner of the car (who wasn't actually driving it) persuades his companions to dump the body. The thing I enjoyed most about this was the actual personal story of these four people who find their lives changed over a bad decision. The set up itself is pretty simple but it works extremely well because we've all been young and made foolish decisions and one of the best moments in the film comes when the four teens must decide whether or not to go to the cops. Their reasoning behind it is interesting and their thought process is something you don't typically see in a slasher. The damage that their decision has on their lives is something else brought up in the screenplay that works extremely well. All of this happens before we even get to the horror elements. The mystery surrounding the killer keeps you guessing for certain. and detailed clarity of individual cheers and instrumentals. Horror elements offer pounding depth and slashing realism which, combined with music, He Knows What You Did -- An Interview with Muse Watson (1080p, 14:43): The man who played the iconic Fisherman talks about his I Know What You Did Last Summer 4K looks very good. Grain consistency is almost perfect. Let down by a couple of noisy scenes. Nothing crazy though. I am surprised that Sony actually got this looking so good. The detail is absolutely incredible. For 90's cameras, it's pretty amazing. It's not oversharpened, but there is some camera ringing around hard objects. It is sporadic and didn't ruin the experience for me. Also, one of the best things about Sony transfers is their clarity under movement. Panning shots retain a lot of detail, something that cannot be said for movies like Scream and Scream 2. I discussed this with my brother, and the difference between this and Scream is significant. It's a Sony thing, it's the icing on the cake. Sony just pushes harder to get better transfers and this is no exception.

You’ve graduated from high school, the world is in the palm of your hand and your whole life is in front of you. Isn’t it great to be young? Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt), Ray (Freddie Prinze, Jr.), Barry (Ryan Phillippe) and Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar) are having the time of their respective lives. After partying a little too hard on the 4th of July, the group accidentally hit a man in the road. Not knowing what to do and afraid it’ll negatively impact their futures, they dump the body in the water, thinking that by the time he’s found – they’ll be in the clear. They then make a bond to keep their secret. A year later, the couples are no more. Julie has become introverted and obsessive about the ordeal and her anxiety is heightened when she receives a letter saying, you guessed it, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” (it’s in all caps in the movie, but you get the idea). A series of murders doesn’t exactly work wonders for the quartet who must now work together to solve this mystery, but also keep their names free and clear of any wrong-doing. What could possibly go wrong? Since Lois Duncan published her enduringly popular YA murder-mystery I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1973, unto every generation a new version is born. Adolescents in the 70s had the book, while 90s teens had the film starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Philippe and Freddie Prinze Jr. While it was a classic of the post-Scream slightly-meta-slasher boom, director Jim Gillespie noted that about two-thirds of the young women auditioning for parts had read the book as children. Even this early in his career, Kevin Williamson proves that he is great at writing both teen drama and horror, and here he combines the two perfectly. We even see some references to what’s to come, with the beach being named “Dawson’s Beach”. Director Jim Gillespie also does a great job, especially with this being his feature film directorial debut.finally, the film looking very good for home consumption. The picture is now handsomely grainy and filmic. Grain is consistent in depth and density,
