Rena survives in more arcs than any other main character: Wata nagashi-hen, Me akashi-hen, Matsuri bayashi-hen, and, at least in the anime version, Tsumi horobo-hen.

Prior to the release of Gō and Sotsu, Rena has the highest number of murders because in the alternate version of Tsumi horobo-hen, Yoi goshi-hen, she successfully blows up the whole school which killed 15 to 25 children (depending on the adaptation), including herself, Mion, Satoko, Rika and Keiichi.
