About this deal

If you can write a synonym in Romanian or maybe explain in some way in Romanian or even in English what the word means, write that in the box. So once you have looked over the 140-plus recipes, you will either find yourself at the height of summer with an abundant garden harvest or in the depths of winter yearning for comfort food: creamy cauliflower soup, lamb stewed in sauerkraut water and scallions, fish zacusa, eggplant salad, mititei are just a few. From the 450 intriguing and easy to follow recipes you will learn all about delicious Romanian sauces and how to make the most of the cheapest cuts of meat. The secret lies in the artful use of herbs and spices.

It helps you learn Slavic languages. Romanian is influenced by Slavic languages such as Russian, Serbian, and Croatian, thanks to its proximity to these countries. Romanian Frequency Dictionary is a great book for learning the core vocabulary of Romanian. It has practical words that you need to know to write and speak the language. It is designed for beginner to intermediate students who are striving for fluency. Because of its twisted history, Romanian cooking is the most eclectic, varied and complex cooking to be found in Eastern Europe. Despite many influences, Romanian cuisine has preserved its definite character with unique flavors and rich tastes.

Geography

You'll notice that the Romanian text now seems much more approachable. If there are words you don't understand immediately, you can skip them without missing out on anything, because you already know what the text is supposed to say.

Assimil is also a dialogue based course, like Teach Yourself. But it's much more focused on the dialogues and a lot less on grammar and drills. Another principle that touches on the same idea, is to look up books that you've read several times in your native language. Tip: If you're looking for the perfect starting point for learning Romanian, then I personally recommend RomanianPod101. It's hands down the best resource I've used. Whenever you start out with your first beginner's course, I always recommend the same thing: Do a second one in the same time! Then there's the problem of having to spend somewhere near half of your language study time helping someone else with English instead of improving your Romanian. This shouldn’t discourage you though. Apart from it being an easy language to learn, studying Romanian comes with so many benefits. Here are just a few: You can learn how to make Prince Charles’s favorite pheasant pudding, the late King Mihai’s favorite pasta con pesto, and the infamous New York Cheesecake. Each recipe is beautifully illustrated with enticing pictures accompanied by some of Princess Margareta’s personal memoirs. Her precise and concise writing style makes the book so easy to devour, but in a refined way – it ends with a few reminders of good manners. An example of this could be to use an image search for the keyword you're looking for instead of just looking the word up in a dictionary. Have you ever wondered what princesses eat for breakfast or kings have at dinner? Princess Margareta of Romania has the answer. If you want to treat yourself or your loved ones to royal delights, search no more as we have the perfect cookbook for you. For each new text that you study, the system will remember the words that you know and the words that you're learning. As you gradually start to remember the yellow words, you can change them to known words.

There are, of course, a number of courses available out there, and a ton of them might be worth spending money on. If you don't know another language from the Latin or Slavic language families, remembering words might be a little more difficult. Request that the sessions be focused on conversation only. Some tutors have their own study programs, preferred books and styles of teaching. There are Romanian speakers all over the world, though, so you'll get many opportunities to speak the language. It is really very easy: H. Müller (excepting her poems from "Este sau nu este Ion"), G. von Rezzori or C.D. Florescu are not part of Romanian literature the same way as, say, Joseph Conrad is not part of Polish or Ukrainian literature. That doesn't mean they cannot appear in a list titled "literature by authors born in Romania"or "literature by authors who wrote books about Romania" The book covers it all and… includes exercises. It’s designed for classroom use but can work for self-study. The one downside of this book is… the print is small, so if you have vision problems, it may not be for you. Just listen to the recording and read through them again. If there are words you've forgotten, glance to the English translation. Do a second beginner's Romanian course in parallel
