The sealer fills the scratch and makes it almost invisible. At the same time the area has been resealed and made hard-wearing again. The sealer must dry before sealing the surface with the scratch remover spray Scratchfix PU Repair Spray.
First, the proud edges of a deep scratch on the surface of the floor are removed using a plastic wedge. Directly afterwards the surface is lightly sanded using a grey abrasive fleece. This is done to even out the floor and any fine scratches. The resulting fine sanding dust is wiped up with a slightly damp cloth and then the surface is wiped over with a dry cloth. Simply mop over your floor to add an extra protective layer and make day to day cleaning even easier. When the first protective film is firm to walk on (after approximately 1 hour), mop a second coat and allow to dry for at least 12 hours before the floor is walked on, ideally overnight. Use the supplied white pad for application and the green pad for intensive cleaning and removal stubborn stains and dirt. Note that the green pad is not recommended for use with rubber floors. Now it's time to deal with the deep scratch -- for this purpose first shake the scratch remover pen Scratchfix PU Repair Pen thoroughly. Then clean the tip. Hold the pen with the tip pointing upwards and de-aerate until a little sealer escapes. Point the pen downwards onto a cloth and press again -- now the tip is filled with sealer -- wipe off excess onto the cloth.IMPORTANT: Gloss level between the repaired area and the factory finish may differ. Always test vinyl floor repair kit products on left over material or in an inconspicuous area prior to the repair to be sure you will be satisfied with the results. Use the grey abrasive fleece to ensure the surface is as even as possible and ensure the area is free from dust and dirt before application. Shake the spray can vigorously before spraying onto the damaged area at a distance of about 30-40 cm. For best results, apply 2-3 times – allowing the protective film to air for about 5-10 mins between coats. Over-dosage of Floor Cleaner R 1000 or the accumulation of moisture on the treated surface can lead to an increase in surface friction as well as a reduction in anti-slip qualities. Always ensure the floor covering is carefully cleaned, so that it is free of any dirt or grease before use. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation but avoid exposure to strong drafts and sunlight during application and drying processes.
Work on erasing deeper scratches with the plastic wedge first, at right angles to the crater, so that any excess is removed.Shake the pen vigorously before use. Hold the pen upright and push the ‘PRESS’ button once before use. Hold the pen tip downright and push the button once more to let drops fall onto a cloth. Guide carefully along the scratch, dabbing lightly. Leave to dry for approx. 10-15 minutes and erase any differences in gloss with a plastic wedge. To prepare the brush tip for repairs, first shake the pen vigorously for at least 15 seconds, remove the cap and release air by pushing the button once before use. Cleans, protects and adds safety to your flooring in one step. Simply dilute with water to a ratio of 1:200 (25ml to 5 litres of water) for a slip resistant and water-soluble protective film.

Do not allow Clean and Strip to dry on the floor. Always ensure the surface is cleaned with clear water within 10 minutes from application. For this reason, work in sections.
