Another awful feature was that whenever Poirot is speaking you can press X to shut him up (not O, like it should be). So whenever he's mentioning to himself that he hasn't solved the puzzle yet, you have to press X, wait a couple of seconds, then press O to undo whatever was wrong. Oh yeah, and L2 to interact, instead of X. It's frustrating every single time. On board the Orient Express, the legendary detective Hercule Poirot tries to solve the murder that has taken place on the prestigious train while surrounded by a cast of intriguing characters with their own secrets and motives. Solving the mystery won’t be easy and through numerous twists and turns, players will have to use their little grey cells as well as detective skills to unravel the truth and bring it to light. By the later game, cutscenes are played out by characters whose faces hardly move, which is actually better. The game leans into its 3D characters and environments but they’re just not up to the level of scrutiny this invites. Other minor irritations include characters vanishing from the scene after talking, Poirot opening non-existent doors to change areas, and his internal monologue sounding like it’s coming from the next room.
