The Aputure amaran Light Dome Mini SE is the first amaran Bowens Mount octabox soft light modifier. It has an eight-sided deep parabolic design with a reflective silver lining. The modifier promises to transform point-source fixtures like the amaran 150c and 300c into directional soft light sources.

Using the same foundational RGBWW technology as professional fixtures like the Aputure LS 600c Pro, the amaran 150c and 300c produce stunning color quality throughout their expanded bi-colour CCT range of 2,500K to 7,500K with green-magenta adjustment and 360° HSI color control with >90% coverage of the Rec.2020 Color Space. And with high CRI/TLCI [95+], SSI (D56) [71], and SSI (Tungsten) [83] scores, the both fixtures can reliably output color-accurate light to achieve faithfulto-life skin tones.

Users who require adaptability from their lights will benefit from the amaran 150c and 300c’s integrated Bowens mount, which can be paired with nearly every Aputure and amaran (and 3 rd party) Bowens Mount modifier. By changing modifiers, these lights can fill the roles of multiple fixtures on set, from hard to soft. The Amaran 150C and 300C are able to be remotely controlled by the Sidus Link app on your smartphone or tablet, offering the full range of capability, including adding the lights to your preset arrays for use in permanent setups in a single location. There’s no native DMX control, which is common on lights at this price, but it will be compatible with Aputure’s upcoming Sidus DMX system. With internal shutters, you can shape the beam for lighting control. For additional shaping capabilities, the Spotlight SE also comes with 15 M-Size Gobo inserts.
