Seems like they aren't able to reliably release a 500GB card yet unfortunately. SD will get there eventually though. Not needing to install retail games makes a big difference to storage needs at least for those of us buying mainly physical. Minecraft user files are the biggest user of internal space for me, my 128G still has 107G free with 19 games (6 physical, 3 just demos). In the next year or so 256G will cost same as 128 does today and I expect that to be fine. I would have gotten this if it had released much earlier this year! But now I'm already on my way towards filling up the 256gb card I have in Switch! If I could figure out a way to efficiently transfer all my data and games over, then find a new place for my 256gb card, I'd TOTALLY grab this 400gb card immediately! Oh my that is so pricey. I think for me 128gb Micro SD would be enough, I don't think 400gb is practical just yet for Switch. My PS4 has a 1TB hard drive which seems like enough, but you are required to install games, so it's a trade off... Perhaps by the time enough of these 256 and 400GB micro SD cards hit circulation, the price will be nice and low and I'll upgrade.
