About this deal

It’s got three lights on the case that indicate the charging status and battery capacity left on the case. Once you charge these earbuds, the battery lasts about 10 hours for the earbuds and can be extended up to 30 hours using the case.

The soundstage is intimate but not congested and have a good sense of depth such that layering/instrument separation is excellent, often bringing out elements I don’t really notice before, particularly in the lower mid frequencies without sounding muddy. They got vibrant highs, as I said, they got excellent ANC and good ambient mode Soundpeats T2 are great for watching movies. They’re actually great for running and working out as well the controls, the Bluetooth, and the battery life is all excellent. The charging case for the T2 is compact and similarly sized to the competition. Like the earbuds, SoundPEATS has used plastic for the case which mostly features a matte finish but there are some glossy elements here and there for the logo as well as a glossy band across the case between the lid to break up the design. The charging case provides useful charging information at a glance. For video calls (like Microsoft Teams and Facetime), your voice is loud enough, but there seems to be heavy compression on both your voice and incoming sounds. It's doable, but not very pleasant to have a conversation this way.Highs showed, as well, a very good retuning potential with an EQ, adding a much more detailed and brighter sound. Please make sure the earbuds are placed properly in the charging case. And wipe the charging metal sheet and pin needle with a microfiber cloth to keep charging connectors on both the earbuds and charging case clean. Soundpeats H1 is simply fantastic in terms of the Sound Quality, and the sound quality is pristine and high quality.

I rate the Active Noise Cancelling up there with the best ANC buds that I’ve tested, like the Soundcore’s. These are not a gamer earbud at all now, regardless of how slow that latency is. I’m going to tell you that the Bluetooth connectivity in the range on it is stellar. There's no doubt in my mind that the technology that Sony, Apple, Bose and Sennheiser employed in their leading edge products from the last couple of years have now filtered down into the budget market. I'm a big user of wireless headphones - both iem and full sized. Whilst I recognise that from a technical perspective, the sound quality of wireless will always play second fiddle to their wired counterparts. For me, the differences and both fairly subtle and certainly tolerable. Whilst I can still appreciate the purer sound quality from a really good player coupled with a set of really good wired headphones (Sony NW A55 Walkman and Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10's for example) - for much of my music listening I tend to veer towards wireless simply for the convenience. They have three ANC modes - off (by default), 'ambient passthrough' and 'on'. Passthrough mode is decent enough, without adding the echoey sound you get on many earbuds, but it could be clearer. Another point of note is that ANC is off by default, so you have to cycle through once to ensure it is on. Similar to Edifier, TaoTronics and Boltune, they signify which side each bud should be inserted, designated by the LR in the centre. Not only is this helpful if you don't know your left from your right, in all seriousness it is a useful feature, as I find button-shaped earbuds don't insert intuitively into the case - FIIL point them horizontally, Samsung and Kinera vertically, and nowadays there is no de facto - and when you're on the move, the last thing you want to do is fiddle around with getting buds in a case. The T2 can be a little fiddly, so the LR is actually rather helpful.I’m willing to overlook it because of the great overall sound. There’s some mid-range clarity that can be difficult to hear. Now the sound stage is the second area. They got it almost right for me, but it’s just not very big. There’s totally a clear separation between left and right channels, but they just never really get a sound stage that kind of goes outside the boundaries of my head it’s still decent, but it’s not the best that I’ve heard. The charging case is out of battery. The case will not turn off the earbuds if the case battery dead.

The SoundPEATS T2 puts most of its effort into the lower frequencies - it sounds deep and full in these areas. There's a mid-bass thump, with a nicely rumbling sub-bass you can feel in songs that pave the way for it, like James Blake's test case Limit to Your Love. Both the mid-bass and sub-bass aren't the tightest or most textured, and when multiple basslines come together, things can even get a little muddy. In a way, the T2 is the counterpart of the recently released SoundPEATS Sonic, which didn't lift the darker tones, but the higher frequencies instead, resulting in a very clear but almost aggressive sound that could become too bright at times. Similar to its mids, the highs and treble range of this SOUNDPEATS TWS has a general relaxed style with no abrupt spikes; besides some arguably tolerable sibilance. The earbuds themselves claim to have up to 10 hours of battery life, though this only pertains to having ANC off. With ANC on, the earbuds last about 6 hours or so. The battery indicator for the earbuds themselves still shows about 90% left after 1-2 hours of use, but drops more abruptly within the last 2 hours or so. Overall, I am still impressed with the battery life but the percentage indicators could be more accurately scaled. The energetic sound and super strong deep bass of Soundpeats T2 just beats the Taotronics dull bass. If you are a basshead you shouldn’s have a second thought Soundpeats T2 is your earbud.Soundpeats T2 has more superior ANC performance compared to Mpow X6 and Sounds better in terms of Bass, Mids, Highs, and Vocals. Yes, you can move the volume up and down by tapping the right or left earbud, respectively, and all the controls are touch based. While focusing on noise reduction performance, the SOUNDPEATS T2 earbuds also value your experience on sound. It adopts 12mm large driver and advanced audio processing technology to provide you incredibly high quality sound and deep bass with rich details while immersing yourself in a quiet private world. Technical Specifications When the battery level of the charging case is 70%-99%, the second LED at the bottom light up in white and the third LED flashes in white Connectivity is perfectly adequate, as you would expect with the buds using the Airoha Bluetooth 5.2 enabled chip. I couldn't get it to disconnect until I made it to my bedroom - around 10m away, but with multiple walls, wireless devices, open Bluetooth cases etc.
