About this deal

You will want to get GuzziDiag working first so you can reset the TPS after balancing the throttles. Around 70% of UK homes do not have the minimum level of controls meaning that thousands of people are missing out on the cost savings they can bring. Pete is right keep clear of plug-in foolers on the newer ecus they can bring the down the fuel air ratio down to very rich conditions. There is one guy who apparently can do pretty good dyno tuning, but he is a hard person to pin down. He is real old school, the sort of mechanic where you leave your bike there for two weeks and maybe he will do something in between other jobs, but there is no guarantee that anything will have happened.

On my 1200 2v motor with a lambda fooler fitted the air/fuel ratio was 11:1 in certain throttle/rpm positions . This was measured on a dyno and eventually the ecu threw up a warning light. The fooler was supposed to control the afr at 13.6:1 it very rarely achieved this figure. The BoosterPlug tuning module is installed in less than 10 minutes. It plugs directly into your motorcycles wiring harness using original connectors, No cutting or splicing wires, no complicated programming, no problems. A tried and tested kit to solve the common stalling and idle problems. The BoosterPlug fuel injection tuning kit is designed to eliminate the usual fuel injection problems that haunts all modern motorcycles. The too lean air/fuel mixture on the standard bike will make idle and low speed running weak, and the throttle action will be horribly on/off like. The small controlled fuel enrichment with the BoosterPlug will solve the common fuel injection problems and make your motorcycle easier and safer to ride.

The problem with interfering with the air temperature sensor is that it is only one of a number of sensors that influence the ecu so in isolation it will not help much. You can do much the same thing with Guzzidiag by editing the air temperature/pressure table but unless the lambda sensor is switched off again not a lot will be gained. The Wise Plug-in IP54 Booster is used to increase the signal range. This products requires a 240V supply. It amplifies and boosts the signal range to 150 metres.

Is the book a plug for the Booster Plug? Yep, but the author admits that from the start. What I like about the book is that it fairly treats the various solutions to fuel mapping, and debunks a few myths too. I honestly plan on doing the ECU flash from Norton's and probably selling the Booster Plug on the cheap side. Welcome to the Drayton Advice Centre. Here you will find guidance on how to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient using heating controls.

Quote from: pokeyjoe on April 05, 2015, 11:55:02 AM That was due to a FatDuc (O2 sensor signal modifier). There are only three ways to fool an ECU:This may work on machines with a 15m-RC controller but I really, REALLY, [REALLY/size] advise against it on machines using the W5AM. Please, don't even think about it. I've been looking at all the different ways to improve air:fuel mixture and smooth out the low end performance on my bike. I currently have the LV-10 slip-on and will be installing DNA hi-performance air filter to round out some moderate performance bumps. I made a DIY version using a diode to reduce the voltage going to the O2 sensor. Dirt cheap when done yourself, and the results were fine at low-mid rpm. Before you balance the TB's make sure you understand how to do it. DO NOT TOUCH THE THROTTLE STOP SCREW ON THE LH THROTTLE BODY! and be aware that you will need to re-calibrate the TPS after the bodies have been balanced so I'd advise against doing anything until you have Guzzidiag and the necessary cables. I used to use a Twinmax to balance my throttle bodies on my BMW's and could really get those motors to run smooth. Is this the best tool to use for the Guzzi or is there something better? Thanks,

Fool the ECU into thinking that you are at a lower altitude. No one has attempted this and I understand why. I would look at the Rapid Bike EVO because of its auto-tune & custom map capabilities.I could tell a difference with the Booster Plug, how much of a difference is negligible performance wise, but I did notice with a slip-on and the booster plug the popping almost went away, still does it at the right rpm and the right throttle chop/RPM blip, but it is way better in that area and with ear plugs you almost wonder if it was a pop or just some other noise from somewhere else.
