About this deal

theracingforum.co.uk has been a home to passionate debate and intelligent discussion for horse racing enthusiasts since the year 2000. Conjure up your most devious plan as your main goal and objective is to win as much money as you can at the races and the good thing about this, there are a couple of ways to do this. Onto another favourite part of the game of mine… the set of mischief cards… oh boy did I create mayhem with the others and players in the races whatsgoodtodo.com is a trading name of Toys and Clothes Limited which is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 04638670

There is also prize money awarded for each race. Some races are more prestigious with more prize money on offer. Before you start the game, each player must make the commitment on which horse will run in which race.

We are a passionate community of over 55,000 horse racing fans, commentators and industry professionals. We were sent The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game from University Games to try out. As it is a game for ages 12 and up, I waited until I could get my grown-up nephew and my parents to help with the review. You start the game with a stable of horses numbered from one to six, with one being the fastest. During the race the players move their horses around the board, either trying to reach the finish line before the others or attempting to make sure the horse they bet on finishes first. How fast a horse moves depends on their grade, which is assigned at the beginning of the race and gives them a certain amount of leeway with dice roles, also giving players clues on who to bet on depending on the size of the stakes. Grades revolve with each subsequent race, so every horse gets to be the fastest horse at least once. Whether it’s a rainy Sunday afternoon or a raucous festive treat, nothing brings family and friends together quite like a board game. From traditional board game favourites like Monopoly, Scrabble and Cluedo to modern board games like Balderdash, Scatergories and Taboo. Themed Games Rating: Would I recommend The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game? Absolutely! It is a 5/5 from me, if I am really honest, if I had to score out of 10, it would be 10/10I remember in some past discussions on F:AT about alternative cards...that would be useful, I think, if there would be any tweaks or home rules.

There are so many questions to think about when playing this game. You need to have a game plan, be devious, manipulative and sneaky, the more cunning you can be, the better the game.We also had escalade but that was nightmare turning the handle thing to make horses move across sheet on flat unit Do you honestly have what it takes to be Really Nasty? Try this game out and find out just how nasty you can be. I promise, you will have blast and so much fun. There are things to watch: long shots can pay off hugely and if someone bets high they can really get ahead - you have to keep in mind which race is being run for how much prize money, who has how much funds they are likely to bet and trying to stop them if you can. I'm not sure that a runaway leader can be stopped once they pull off a huge bet. But they call it a long shot for a reason.
