About this deal

Like Simply Belle, Amazing Grace EDT is straight up glue (I probably had some amazing glue in my childhood because several perfumes smell like glue to me) with a hint of soap.

The only upside to this fleeting fragrance after reformulation is that it is less powdery on my skin, even though other reviews note a strong baby powder scent.I don't quite understand how most of the Fragrantica folks are getting so much musk, as it isn't that musky on me, but we all know how the same fragrance will perform differently on different people.

One of my very favorites of all time, have used it since I was a teen but it never gets old, have been through many bottles of it over the years. But nothing smells like AG, I guess it works so well with my body chemistry which is why I prefer it over other soapy/fresh floral perfumes. While Amazing Grace definitely does not smell the same as those two fragrances, I think the three have the same soapy, powdery, and airy feel to them. This was my signature when I was in my teens, and I would wear this everyday when I was fifteen/sixteen, and would even marinate myself in it after PE- ew. I found a mini of EDP in my stuff don’t have a clue where it came from I guess I’m a little underwhelmed by AG I expected a fancier smell from all the reviews on here and QVC its just a Meh scent to me not bad but not great just okay. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health. Other days it starts off harsh and alcoholic, evolving into a clingy citrus-musk that lasts on my skin even after vigorous scrubs with rubbing alchohol/vinegar/baking soda.

im not usually a fan of powdery perfumes but for some reason i really enjoy wearing amazing grace especially after showering as it has a very soapy scent so it makes me feel *squeaky* clean. This is a lighter fragrance, as far as projection and staying power, so you can wear it when you are going to be close to people or to places that don't appreciate sillage. This has DNA similar to the old classic "White Shoulders" perfume: feminine, floral, "hairspray-esque". I blind bought this without really noticing the comments about this being similar to Simply Belle (which I wasn't a fan of).I am not a fan of the composition, maybe it’s the freesia, I am not sure, but there is something odd with the flowers and the citrus part don’t splash, it falls a bit flat for me, there is no zest, no juicy fresh impression.

Bellereve's review gives a perfect breakdown of the individual notes you'll detect while smelling - but to me it wasn't really fresh, and more so chemical-y/synthetic. One of those perfume where the positive reviews make me feel crazy and like I'm smelling a completely different scent.

Unfortunately, when Coty bought and reformulated this scent (EDT), they murdered the longevity and sillage. I really wish I could have smelled this before the reformulation- sounds like it was much more interesting!
